Well, Sisters and Brothers, it has been some time since I have updated this site but that is due to the very busy schedule we have had this year. We have visited all the chapters in the state and have concluded all the honor nights and have only homecoming left.

We have had exchange visits in Nevada and New Mexico and were able to meet and make many new friends and renew old friendships.

The love and friendship shown to us as we traveled this year has been wonderful and I shall never forget this wonderful experience. I have never regretted my decision to make this journey and you, my sisters and brothers, have made all my dreams come true.

I hope I have made Arizona members proud of me and please know you all will live in my heart forever. I thank you all for every courtesy and kindness shown to me this past year and look forward to many more years of fraternal love and friendship.

Well, it has been a while since I have updated this but as you know, things have been a little busy. Since last posting, I have been to New Mexico Grand Chapter and was honored to be the emblem bearer for Electa's station for Pamala James, the new Worthy Grand Matron of New Mexico. We had a wonderful time and am already looking forward to next year's session. We have also attended General Grand Chapter in Tulsa and I was please to see that we had close to 50 from Arizona attending. It was truly an education to attend and see how our Order is trying to grow throughout the World!

Offical Visits at Valley of the Sun #70, Golden Rule #1, Mesa Starlight #16, Sun City #66, Arcadia #9 and White Mountain #8 have been completed along with several Friendship nights and honor nights for Grand Esther, Susan Glenn, Grand Martha, Pat Peterson, Grand Warder, Dean Powell, Grand Trustee Barbara Wunder, Grand Conductress Jane Garcia, Grand Sentinel, Earl Wunder, Grand Electa, Patty Dennis, Associate Grand Conductress, Linda Heberling and Grand Organist, Kathy Pierson have been held. Great times where had at all and attendance has been really, really good. I am so grateful for the support and encouragement I have been receiving and will be forever thankful.

As we head into the New Year, we have a very busy schedule for the first three months, so we are all taking a deep breath and charging forward!

My New Year's wish for you, my friends, is not a simple one. For I wish you hope and joy and peace, days filled with warmth and sun. I wish you love and friendship, too, throughout the coming year, Lots of laughter and happiness to fill your world with cheer. May you count your blessings, one by one, and when totaled by the lot, may you find all you've been given to be more than what you sought. May your journeys be short, your burdens light. May your spirit never grow old. May all your clouds have silver linings and your rainbows pots of gold. I wish this all and so much more. May all your dreams come true. May you have the most happy of years, my friends!

My goodness, what a whirlwind. We are off to a great start. Our first three OV's up north were great and the attendance was terrific also. Mizpah certainly went all out to entertain us in style with a lovely dinner, great meeting and beautiful refreshments after the meeting. Decorations in the dining room were wonderful and thank you for giving Jerry and I the decorations at the head table. Charlotte and Chuck did a great job and Donna is a real jewel.

Had a great dinner at La Posada in Winslow preceeding the meeting and really enjoyed the fellowship at dinner and during refreshments following. Margie and David treated us as royalty.

Flagstaff was the next day and again a great lunch, terrific attendance at the meeting, entertaining program and refreshments following. My thanks to Don and Mary Lou for a great day and the poem about Daddy was extra special.

My thanks to my appointed Grand Officers. Your attendance has been super and I love each one of you.

I have just returned from Nevada Grand Chapter where we had a great, though cold time. My counterpart Debbie Tanner was installed as Worthy Grand Matron and I am on my way on Tuesday by way of an honor night in Holbrook for our Grand Treasurer, Marsha Young, to New Mexico Grand Chapter. Am looking forward to seeing my many friends in New Mexico and participating in the emblem ceremony for Sister Pamala James as she is installed as Worthy Grand Matron.

Well, we are off! Had a beautiful installation and now the Everyday Angels are ready to roll. Everyone looked so nice at the ceremony and the Installing Officers did a wonderful job.

We have now returned from a great weekend retreat at Chapel Rock in Prescott where all the Grand Officers got to get to know each other a little better and all had a super time. Don't know if it was prophetic or what but Friday evening there was a beautiful rainbow. And then early Saturday morning we woke to a pair of owls in the trees right behind St. James place. They stayed the entire weekend and, in fact, when we took the winery tour on Saturday afternoon in Chino Valley, guess what? Yep, another owl awaited us there. Just made it that much more special. Am attaching some pictures from the day to share.

Hope to be able to continue to periodically update this blog but time will tell as to how it works out timewise.

Sue Peterson
